Dimetis GmbH Showcases Exciting Video Software for Dimetis BOSS Platform®  & Turn-key System Integration Services at NAB 2008

New products & integration capabilities unify management of broadcast and telecom networks, unleashing potential for on-demand, quality-assured, high-margin video services

Dimetis GmbH, an international software and hardware Systems Integrator, announced today that it will be showcasing exciting new software products for its Dimetis BOSS (Broadcast Operations Support System) Platform, as well as its complete turn-key system integration capabilities at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters Convention- NAB 2008, April 14-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Dimetis BOSS Platform consists of a family of software modules that unify the management of different broadcast and telecom standards, dissimilar equipment and incompatible element/network control systems under a single platform. All for the purpose of moving high bandwidth video and media, with QOS, in an on-demand fashion from content origination to distribution over any wide area network. 

Dimetis BOSS supports the delivery of all types/formats of uni-cast and multi-cast video services, including IPTV, HD, SD and Mobile TV. Functionality includes: equipment and bandwidth management, non-linear file transfers, scheduling, network monitoring, fault recovery and root cause analysis.
